Our Story
Welcome to HALL825, where The Call of the Wild isn’t just a Jack London book. We’re Alison and Jason Hall, a team since we were toddlers, with a childhood of chasing freedom with reckless abandon. That thrill of charging into the unknown, looking over at each other and eagerly asking “What’s next?” sparked a lifelong passion blessed with wonderment and endless curiosity.
Our family is as tight-knit as the Jeep community we love, always ready to lend a hand, or duck a fellow Jeeper’s rig for a quick smile. HALL825 is named for our three boys, all born on August 25th (one flew in solo and one set of twins), each carrying his own bold, adventurous spirit. Just like our Jeeps, our family has tackled life’s muddy lows and soared to its mountain highs. From getting stuck in the muck to cruising open trails under endless skies, we’ve embraced every moment.
As with Jeep life, family isn’t just about the vehicle, it’s about the journey, the connections, and the memories we create along the way. For us, it’s a family adventure we wouldn’t trade for anything. And that same spirit became the foundation for Duck More Quack Less™.
The Birth of Duck More Quack Less
It all started right here in our idyllic little town in Wisconsin. We live on what has to be the busiest street in town — the one that feeds straight into the thriving downtown area while overlooking the boat launch, the farmers market, and the band shell. So we quite literally see it all and of course, it all see us too — notably, the his/hers Jeeps that flex in our driveway.

One ordinary day, we heard a such a ruckus of honking and carrying on outside. We stepped out to see a driver who was doing something apparently perceived as egregious (aka: driving too slowly) by the driver behind them, who was indeed, the singular source of all of that honking. We came inside feeling a little bad for both parties (and everyone else disrupted by it) and one of us playfully said, "But, I don't wanna slow down, I wanna honk." And the other of us replied, “Everyone just needs to Duck More and Quack Less.”

That simple, light-hearted comment hit us both like a lightning bolt. It perfectly captured the spirit we wanted to live by — spread more joy and random acts of kindness (duck more) and leave the negativity and frustration behind (quack less). From that moment on, Duck More Quack Less™ became our family motto.
It was the perfect phrase to pair with the growing Jeep ducking movement that was already sweeping the country. What started as a fun, random act of kindness on Jeeps quickly became the foundation for an entire lifestyle brand.
